Deer in Spring on Reclaimed Sign

The 'Deer in Springt' is painted on a disguarded reclaimed sign and given a new lease of life. This is my favourite of all road signs in the UK and one I have wanted to paint for a very long time, I think its the deer in motion that I am drawn to so painting it running through the long grass and blossoming colourful flowers was all I felt it needed to bring it to life. Like many of us that enjoy nature and walking through forest, when we see a deer we stop in our tracks in wonderment.

The sign was given a defused background and graffiti added to accentuate the border of the sign which gives it lots of colour and a fabulous pop art look. The colour and artwork really pop on this one off piece of art and will super cool in any room as you can see from the gallery of images showing how it will look hung.
