Keep Your Graffiti Oar Out (of the water)

The 'Keep Your Graffiti Oar Out (of the water)' is painted onto a an old wooden oar and given a new lease of life.I had be thinking about painting an oar for a while living by the sea and i wanted to give it lots of colour and vibrancy. It is painted in graffiti lettering and symbols all the way around the oar so you can change the look once hung to each side.

The oar was sanded back and filled where it had received damage over the years and painted a beautiful blue colour. It was then hand painted with graffiti which gives it lots of colour and a fabulous pop art look. It was then lacquered with a clear coat varnish several times to retain the colour and vibrancy. The colour and artwork really pop on this one off piece of art and will super cool in any room.
